Inter-House Fun Run/Walk 2019
Well done to all the students and staff who took part in the 2019 Inter-House Fun Run on Friday 20th September. This event saw all involved undertake a 5km run/walk and represent their houses by dressing in their distinctive house colours.

Butler House Wins Kennedy Trophy
Congratulations to Butler House who were the overall winners of the Kennedy House Trophy for 2018-19 with a score of 1736 house points. The trophy was presented to the winning house by the Mayor of Galway, Cllr. Niall McNellis Well done to all 6 houses who did so well this year. In total over 9000 house points were awarded to the girls across all the houses which is a tremendous achievement.
BTYS Project Ranks Taylors as Top School in Ireland!
This year a group of students from Millstreet Community School in Cork undertook a BT Young Scientist project to use school ranking criteria from a range of different countries to evaluate a sample of 100 Irish post-primary schools. The criteria included academic achievement, extra-curricular provision, success in national competition amongst other things and Taylors was ranked 1st, followed by Meanscoil Naomh Uinseann, Dundalk in 2nd place, and Clongowes Wood College, Co. Kildare, in 3rd!
